This humorous and poignant article sums up a lot of what it means to be a great dad. I particularly enjoyed this line:
"I used to think that having the kids adore me was one of the keys to fatherhood, but over time I’ve learned that we dads keep doing the things we do for our kids because we know we’re being heroic in our own way, even if they don’t. And because we love them."
